Alex Brisker graduated from Millikan in 2011 and is pursuing filmmaking at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA).  In May, 2012 Alex joined Ms. Bennett’s Go Public: A Day in the Life of an American School District film crew and they worked together documenting a day in the life of high school twins on the verge of graduation.  In 2013, Alex wrote, directed, and edited Somewhere in the Black Mountain Hills of Dakota, a short film based on the Beatles song Rocky Raccoon.  This highly ambitious Western was nominated for Best Director and Best Rising Star at the MoonDance Film Festival.  In 2014, his short film Love and the Art of Frisbee Flight won Best Film at the MoonDance Film Festival.
