Cinematic Arts Academy students just got back from Washington state where they participated in the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY).

Over 1,000 films were submitted to the festival and just over 200 were accepted as “Official Selections”.  Eleven films by Cinematic Arts Academy students were Official Selections:

Our students won two major honors:

 “Best New Talent 14 and Under” – Ella Fields

Prodigy Summer Camp Scholarships – Zoe Calamar and Theo Taplitz

During the weekend of April 28, our students were involved in networking events, screenings, panels, and parties with filmmakers around the world.  We came back to school energized and inspired!
