Cameron Covell

Cameron Covell graduated from Millikan in 2009 and graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2017. As a student at Millikan he created several award winning short films as well as film components for Drama Production theatrical productions of Super Villain Comics, Pecos Bill, Attack of the Cavegirls, and Legend of the Seven Samurai. In June 2013, he was honored as a U.S. Presidential Arts Scholar for the Cinematic Arts and his film The Most Beautiful Thing is on display at the Smithsonian Museum of American Art in Washington, D.C.

Cameron came back to the Cinematic Arts Academy in December 2013 to share his insights about screenwriting with the students.  You can see his lecture here.

In January, 2014, Google licensed part of his short film The Most Beautiful Thing for their Oscars commercial “We’re All Storytellers”.

In May, 2017 Cameron was hired at Rocket Jump Studios.  Look for his work on their show Dimension 404 on Hulu!
