Tour dates are up on the Millikan website.

Check out the campus and have your questions answered about our academy and the application process.

Part II: Application to Millikan Middle School
  1. If your child wants to apply to become part of the Cinematic Arts Academy, you must also ensure your child can attend Millikan.
  2. If Millikan is your child’s school of residence, you are all set.
  3. If Millikan is NOT your child’s school of residence, you need to become eligible to attend Millikan. Many families apply to the Millikan Affiliated Charter lottery or other applications such as guardian work permit. Some families enter by applying to the Millikan Performing Arts Magnet lottery. However, please note that students applying to Cinematic Arts through the Magnet will only be able to attend Cinematic Arts and NOT all the other academy cross-curriculum classes, due to Magnet rules.
  4. The deadline for the Magnet lottery is typically in November. Please check eChoices.
  5. The Charter Lottery link will be live soon.
  6. The Charter and Magnet Lottery Drawings are usually in early March.
